NaNOcopy™
"Micro-Structure COPY/VOID pantograph"
Patent 6,692,030

In 2001 we introduced an advanced anti-copy background we trademarked NaNOcopy™. The technology, NaNOcopy™ utilizes micro-alpha-numeric characters to create a warning messge such as VOID or COPY to alert a casual observe. These micro structures are also encrypted to allow verification of secret information.

TamperSafe®
"Security Hologram with 4th Dimension"
Patent 5,77

TamperSafe® is an optical variable pixel hologram with the word SAFE ghosted into it. When viewed at different angles four distinctly different images are apparent:

A security icon of a lock
A security icon of a key
The word SAFE behind the key
The word SAFE ghosted into all the images
The fourth image is normally the word SAFE but can be customized to any word, letters or graphics that would properly fit into the hologram.

This technology offers a very high level of security that is also laser compatible.

n 192 Verify First Technologies (VFT) developed and patented the ProGhost™ artificial watermark that cannot be digitally defeated and has since become a standard in document protection. Several security paper mills incorporate this technology on the back of their security papers

Metallic Safe™

The "MetallicSafe"™ process is one that totally protects the product from scanning or photocopying. This patented feature works on the basis that a highly reflective metallic image, number or message is hot stamped over the top of a printed scrambled background with similar graphics as the metallic message. When the product is scanned, photo or color copied, the highly reflective metallic image turns predominantly black, causing the image or message to disappear into the background.

Verification is simple and very obvious. Tip the MetallicSafe™ area towards light and if you can't verify the message or number, then it's a counterfeit.

TouchSafe® & ThermoSafe®
"Heat Reactive
Verification Seal" Patent 5,636,874

ThermoSafe® inks

In 1995 VFT began working with thermochromic inks. Verify First Technologies developed and applied for patents on the TouchSafe® and ThermoHide™ hidden message technologies which combine thermochromic and conventional inks. TouchSafe® is a fingerprint seal that requires the user's interaction and must be breathed on, rubbed or touched to verify authenticity. ThermoHide™ is a covert hidden message that both verifies authenticity and protects the document from copying or alteration attempts. In 1997 we developed and applied for patents on a new Copy/Void Pantograph, trademarked ThermoSafe™, which works in conjunction with thermochromic inks. When properly printed this technology has proved to be superior to all other Copy/Void Pantographs currently being offered.

Touch or breathe on fingerprint area and a "valid" message will verify authenticity. This technology is one of the highest security features you can utilize. It is also laser compatible.

NoDupIt®
"Heat Reactive Anti-Copy Signature or Logo" Patent 5,636,874

In 1997 we introduced our anti-copy technology trademarked NoDupIt®. This technology utilizes thermochromic inks to print specific screen frequency designs to degrade or totally disappear when scanned or copied.

CodeSafe®
"Synthetic D.N.A.
Molecular Code"
Patent 6,082,775
6,106,021

bca

In 1999 we introduced CodeSafe®. CodeSafe® is one of the most advanced techonologies you can offer your customers. The technologies can incorporate either a synthetic D.N.A. molecular or atomic element code into the product. This unique signature code is nearly impossible to replicate or reverse engineer. Its molecular or atomic makeup is comprised of extremely rare, protected elements. These elements create a unique spectral "signature" which can be decoded with spectroscopic analysis equipment in a forensic lab or in the field with low cost verifiers. In some applications the unique code's presence can also be detected with a complementary chemical, a blacklight or magnifying glass.

ImageSECURE®
"Image Survivable Security Feature"
Patent Pending

In 2004, with the new Check-21 act for IRD's we developed an Image Survivable security feature for checks. Trademarked ImageSECURE™, this security feature will help give companies including banks the assurance of validity even after the original check has been truncated and destroyed.

SafeImage™
"True Watermark Security Paper"

A non generic true watermark paper with unique security images embedded into the paper, which can only be viewed by translucent "pass through" light. SafeImage™ security paper also incorporates chemical inclusion protection, toner fuse adhesion, blue and red visible fibers, invisible fluorescent fibers, and most important; this very high-end security paper is available only to security printers with certified and secure facilities.
